AWhile the Arena Football League may be on their universal bye week to celebrate July 4, the Tampa Bay Storm are not on a bye week.
The team is working out at LA Fitness and will also be training at the beach. Jimmy Gordon and Adam Kennedy are doing some other things besides training, however.
“I’m thinking of going to Busch Gardens to have some fun for a day,” Gordon said, “I may go golfing and go to PCI Beach with some of the boys, too; just relax and soak up some sun.”
Kennedy, who was replaced by Jason Boltus earlier this season, is going to New Orleans to visit some friends. “I like to travel. It’s my passion,” Kennedy said, “New Orleans also has a little piece of my heart after living there the past two years and playing there.”
The Storm return to action when they take on the Los Angeles KISS at the Honda Center in Los Angeles on July 11. Kickoff is set for 10 p.m. ET.
