Monterrey Steel Season Preview

The Monterrey Steel defy the name of the National Arena League. They will be the lone team that doesn’t play in the USA. They will play all of their home games in Monterrey, MX.

The roster, however, will have a mixed bunch of people. Players will be coming from both Mexico and the USA.

The Steel open their season on March 20 against the Corpus Christi Rage. That game will be played in Monterrey, as will their first four games. After that, the Steel will take a trip to the USA from all throughout May.

They will play the Columbus Lions, Rage, Jacksonville Sharks and Georgia Firebirds during that trip. Two of their final three games will be at home.

The National Arena League is entering their first season of play. The season kicks off when the Lions host the Sharks in Columbus, GA on March 17. The league changed their name after originally being called the Arena Development League
